Flower Day is an ecstatic tradition that attracts thousands of people to purchase flowers and experience simple pleasures of the market environment outdoors. This preparation list for Flower Day at Detroit’s Eastern Market includes useful information along with the overall to get excited about. To ease traffic and extend access, Flower Tuesday Markets will be held on May 6, 13, 20, and 27 from 9AM to 3PM. in Sheds 5 and 6. Vendor offerings will also be available daily in Shed 6 from Mother’s Day through Father’s Day, with additional plant selections offered during Saturday Markets throughout the season. Cart Rentals will be onsite to rent carts and wagons. If you do not want to wait for a cart, you can bring your own carts or wagons. No flower pick-up & drop-off locations will be available this year.

FEATURED FLOWER DAY ARTWORK FOR SALE
Detroit’s Eastern Market will have incredible amounts of gorgeous displays of flowers and plant life to bring color & natural beauty to our eyes. Visitors can commemorate the event with exclusive 2025 Flower Day merchandise featuring artwork by Detroit-based visual artist Allison Sims. Posters and shirts will be available at the merchandise booth outside Shed 3. The first 50 posters will be hand-signed and priced at $50; the remaining posters will be priced at $25. Merchandise will continue to be sold at Saturday Markets while supplies last.
