Small Business Saturday in Detroit will soon take over the town and the Metro Detroit area at the end of this month. Leading up to November 29 (the Saturday after Thanksgiving), the city of Detroit has preparations to get everyone involved in Small Business Saturday. Downtown Detroit makes the most of this day every year and Detroit neighborhoods know how to get in on the fun too.
This countrywide celebration urges locals to appreciate the natural yet hard work of small business owners and entrepreneurs who have set out to build a new avenue for not only themselves, but the whole community. Majority of these shops sell hand-crafted items made in Detroit and Michigan with responsibly-sourced products. Owners in Detroit and across metro Detroit are offering great deals too.
Detroitisit rounded up a list of key ways to celebrate Small Business Saturday in Detroit, including an event guide of a few local shopping opportunities specifically in Detroit as well as a myriad of neighborhood initiatives participating in this celebration.
