Kwanzaa begins December 26 and is celebrated through January 1. Black culture is shining extra bright in the heart of downtown at Campus Martius Park. Experience the enormity of Detroit’s Kwanzaa kinara, known to be the largest in the world. Head to Campus Martius to see the massive Christmas tree and giant Hanukkah menorah as well.
