MARL’s Thanksgiving Meal program (just passed) consists of a $25 donation that provides a shelter animal with a special holiday feast. There are still opportunities to continue the theme of giving! The Thanksgiving meal sponsorship donation is used in combination with other gifts to help save the lives of the many animals spending this season at the Michigan Animal Rescue League. In fact, these areas often merge with Metro Detroit with clever collaborations. Take a look at Metro Detroit which accepts donations, include COTS Peggy’s place. Bring much-needed items, such as diapers, towels and washcloths, twin sheet sets, socks, pajamas, toiletries, and toys for Christmas to The Detroit PAL Recreation Center in Detroit.
