PARKER’S ALLEY

First, it’s helpful to know what exactly Parker’s Alley is or a quick recap if you’re already familiar. Essentially, it’s a newer place to shop downtown, but it also has a lot of history! It pays homage to Thomas Parker, who was one of the city’s first Black landowners. The Shinola Hotel Parker’s Alley is a great spot for finding a variety of clothing items from local shops. You’ll also find it alive with art, music, and scenic photography areas. Take the family along for a celebration of Detroit’s dedicated local entrepreneurial sphere! It’s a mix of global brands and homegrown businesses.
