Its been a few weeks now, and we’re all probably a little tired of home cooking. Luckily, there are many Detroit restaurants you can support that offer curbside pick-up amid the ongoing pandemic.
Not only can you get a great bite, but you’ll also support the local food industry during this crucial time. To save you the ease of searching, we’ve taken the liberty of providing you with some choices.
DETROIT RESTAURANTS OFFERING CURBSIDE
1. AVALON BAKERY
While the Downtown Detroit location remains closed, you can get all your favorite breads and baked goods from their 422 West Willis Street location in Midtown. Place your order here online, or give them a call at (313) 832-0008.
They’re open Tuesday- Saturday 7 am-3 pm, and are currently only offering curbside service with a limited number of people allowed inside the building at one time.
2. BUCHAREST GRILL
You can still grab the best Shawarma in Detroit from Bucharest Grill. With the Corktown, Jefferson Ave. and Livernois locations open, they’re offering curbside takeout, or you can place an order through Doordash.
They’re open from 11 AM-8 PM every day, and orders can be placed here.
3. DETROIT ROYALE WITH CHEESE
Open Monday-Saturday from 5 pm-10 pm with limited menu options, Detroit Royale With Cheese will be taking curbside orders from their midtown location. Learn more about what they’re offering here.
4. EASTERN MARKET BREWING COMPANY
Eastern Market Brewing Company is open Tuesdays and Saturdays and is taking part in Eastern Markets curbside markets. You can grab all of their signature brews or a few pasties all from your car.

5. GREY GHOST

Grey Ghost in Midtown is offering curbside orders on food and drinks, with the option of same-day pick-up if you order before 3 pm.
They’re open Thursday – 2:00 PM – 7:00 PM, Friday – 2:00 PM – 7:00 PM and Saturday – 2:00 PM – 7:00 PM. Learn more about their curbside policies here.
6. IMA NOODLES
Ima is open at both it’s Madison Heights and Midtown locations for delivery, pickup, or curbside service. Grab some ramen, or a Karaage Chicken or Tofu Sandwich and eat it in your car, or have it delivered to your home.

7. JOSES TACOS
Joses Tacos is open for carry-out and curbside at both it’s Eastern Market and Downtown Detroit locations. With the full menu available, give them a call at (313) 965-9992 or learn more here.
8. MARROW
While the restaurant has been closed for dine-in service, you can still shop Marrow online for delivery or pick-up. Fresh meat is available for delivery through Mercato, while Specialty Kits are available for online pick-up.

9. MAGNET DETROIT
Magnet Detroit has teamed up with another restaurant [who we’ll mention later] to offer some of it’s best flavors as part of what it’s calling the Curbside Market.

10. PIE SCI PIZZA
Pie Sci Pizza in Midtown has remained open and is currently only offering curbside pickup with payment via card. To place an order, give them a call at (313) 818-0290 or learn more online here.
11. PJ’S LAGER HOUSE
PJ’s Lager House is a great place to hit up if you’re looking to not only order some food, but also support a local venue. They’re open Sat & Sun 10 am-2 pm and offer no-contact curbside pickup.

12. TAKOI
As mentioned above, Takoi has teamed up with Magnet Detroit to offer curbside service as part of the Curbside Market. Pickup is at 4884 Grand River near Ochre Bakery, so just look for the yellow arrow and you’ll know you’re in the right spot.

While there is no set date yet, Johnny Noodle King in Southwest Detroit announced on Instagram that they will soon be offering curbside service.
Needless to say, this is one we’re most excited about.
