According to the experts at Einstein Bros. Bagels, National Bagel Day has moved on from sharing a holiday with National Pizza Day. In an effort to bring more appreciation to bagel makers and to “highlight their craft and dedication to baking fresh bagels every day,” Einstein Bros. Bagels has officially moved National Bagel Day to January 15th.
To celebrate the craft of bagel making, patrons of the bagel brand can ring in the new holiday with a free bagel and shmear at any Einstein Bros. location. The celebration doesn’t end there though, on top of the free offerings, those who stop by will also receive a coupon for a free bagel and shmear with any purchase so they can offer a bagel to someone else of their choosing.
Quoted in a press release put out by Einstein Bros. Bagels Chad Thompson, Chief Baker and VP of Menu Innovation at Einstein Bros stated, “We like to say that our bakers wake up the roosters. They’re up before dawn starting the baking ritual, every day, so our guests can enjoy a fresh-baked bagel. We strive to ‘bake your day’ every day, but on National Bagel Day, we especially want to make sure of it.”
The offer that comes with National Bagel Day is available at all participating Einstein Bros. Bagels locations, but it does exclude license stores inside of colleges, airports, hotels and hospitals.
