MT. ELLIOT PARK
Detroit parks are a solid way to spend a summer day because each one has several fun options for all ages. The renovated Mt. Elliott Park & Pavilion features a Great Lakes schooner-themed water feature with water cascades and “kid-activated” water cannons, wind chimes, and many other interactive features. Complete with fishing piers, winding walkways, LED lighting, restrooms, and a café, watch Mt. Elliot become one of your favorite hangout spots this summer. The water features in the park were designed in collaboration with Water Odyssey, an international designer of fountains and water parks. MILLIKEN STATE PARK LIGHTHOUSE

It’s a scaled-down replica of the recently renovated lighthouse at Tawas Point State Park, originally built in 1876.
