Patrick Ethen has a sparkle in his eye. Maybe it’s due to the passion he exudes for his art. It may be due to his relative youth yet old soul demeanor. Or it may be because he’s meant to be one of those chosen ones here to light our way. Building, tinkering, designing and engineering his days through small and large-scale lighting projects, his work seems to be embodying the matrix between where the body and the experience morph. Patrick may just be the artistic designer this city needs and is yearning for, as it searches for the light on its own path to the future.
