BLACK BUSINESS MONTH CELEBRATION-HOW THE SBA CAN HELP YOU STIMULATE GROWTH!

AFRO NATION DETROIT 2023
You’ve probably heard the news by now that that the Afro Nation Festival is coming to Detroit for the first time this August, but did you know that it also ties into black businesses in Detroit? Afro Nation Detroit arrives August 19 to August 20, 2023, at Bedrock’s Douglass site. Substantial revenue opportunities for many local Detroit businesses are set to arise from Afro Nation Detroit, which will now be the flagship festival in the U.S. Detroit musical artists, DJS, and creatives on the rise can also expect more opportunities from this internationally recognized festival celebrating Afrobeats, Black music, and culture.
THE BLACK AFFAIR: a 100% BLACK-OWNED RETAIL EXPERIENCE

Reading about some of these black business events in Detroit that aren’t until September could be good for those that already have a black-owned business and are interested in vending at certain events. “The Black Affair” is a “100% black-owned retail experience”. The best part about “black events” in Detroit is that they continue on celebrating! Unification and community support can often be stronger the more people are able to connect physically. If you consider yourself tech savvy and full of black joy, then join Black Tech Saturdays in Detroit. This group aims to promote diversity, innovation, and community wealth to support Black tech.
