The economic impacts of COVID-19 have laid bare the need for support during these troubling times, and Clothing retailer Detroit Hustles Harder is just the latest business that has announced it will be working to support the local community. The Eastern Market-based clothing manufacturer announced it would be teaming up with artists, brands, and small businesses to raise money to help those directly affected by the impacts of COVID-19 as part of its Hustle for a Cause fundraiser.
“Our company was founded in 2007, also during weird and uncertain times to showcase local artists, brands, and small businesses alike. We know it is crucial to unite together and support each other’s hustles,” shared Brendan Blumentritt, Co-Owner at Detroit Hustles Harder.
As part of the fundraiser, Detroit Hustles Harder is seeking help local artists, brands, and small businesses to create exclusive collaborative pieces that will be sold online. The money raised will go to help those directly impacted by COVID-19. The collection will be available starting Saturday, April 4th with price ranges from $30-$100.
At the moment, some who have collaborated include work from Murals in the Market, Woodward Throwbacks and the Movement Music Festival.
