Celebrate National Ice Cream in Detroit the right way by giving back to the local community. Make sure you know about the 10,000 scoops of ice cream that will be given away on July 23 at Cadillac Square in Downtown Detroit. According to Local 4 News Detroit, free scoops of Moose Tracks available to raise money for a local charity. Denali Brands, which owns the Moose Tracks ice cream flavor brand, is teaming up with Country Fresh and Meijer to give out free ice cream as part of a fundraiser that will benefit the Salvation Army of Metro Detroit. The Moose Tracks cream flavor featured at this event consists of fudge and peanut butter cups in vanilla ice cream. For every scoop that is served during the event, $1 will be donated to the Salvation Army of Metro Detroit to support community programs.
