St. Patty’s Day events 2022 in Detroit include free events. Historic Detroit buildings are notorious for being popular modern spaces. Join in at The Historic First Congregational Church is the home of the Underground Railroad Living Museum and Flight to Freedom re-enactment and is a venue for many social activities, including weddings, anniversaries, and other special events. Corn Beef and Cabbage, Soda Bread, and many other Irish favorites are served in the elegant dining hall. Guests are welcome to attend Church service online or in-person from 11:00-12:30, with the St. Patrick’s Day Celebration immediately following at 1:00 pm. Located at 33 East Forrest Ave, Detroit.

MOST HOLY TRINITY DETROIT ST. PATRICK’S DAY CELEBRATION

Thursday, March 17, 2022, at 12:00 PM – 3:30 PM

St. Patrick’s Day events 2022 in Detroit often revolve around mass services.  Along with Mass, the day will include samplings of food, craft beer, and Irish whiskey from your favorite Corktown establishments at this cocktail party-like event. Gather for a 12 noon Mass (first-come, first-served), followed by an afternoon Taste of Corktown reception at the Most Holy Trinity Catholic Academy. $50 per person. Ticket required. ST. PATRICK’S DAY BASH

Thu Mar 17, 2022, from 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm

Time to unleash your spunky side for this  St. Patty’s Day you’ll never forget! The luck of the Irish will be on your side as you hit the dance floor with plenty of drinks, music, and excitement to keep you partying till the wee hours of 10 pm. Live music from Paul Winterhalter will be rocking the stage 5 pm-8 pm. Wear green or go home…just kidding, but make sure you’re ready to dance!  Irish cocktail specials, green (glitter optional) beer, and Irish-themed food specials from our restaurants. No tickets or cover is needed. This is an all-ages event. Located at Detroit Shipping Company, 474 Peterboro, Detroit.

 

THE DETROIT ST. PATRICK’S PARADE

Sunday, March 13, 2022, starting at 1:00 pm

The UIS board is predicting a bigger, better parade for 2022! A list of St. Patty’s Day 2022 events in Detroit wouldn’t be complete without the 64th Annual Detroit St. Patrick’s Parade. The 2020 and 2021 Detroit St. Patrick’s Day parades were canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Join the historical, massive celebration. The parade typically attracts 80,000-100,000 people, making it one of the largest St. Patrick’s parades in the country and it features floats, marching bands, color guard units, and more. Cultural unification is at the root of this cherished celebration. The parade runs along Michigan Ave. in Corktown. Click HERE for more parade info.

 

GIGI’S PLAYHOUSE DETROIT

Friday, March 11 at 7:00 PM

GiGi’s Playhouse Detroit is hosting a St. Patrick’s Day-themed night out at the Royal Oak Farmer’s Market. Celebrate individuals with Down syndrome through merging together St. Patrick’s Day of luck. World Down Syndrome Day is recognized annually around the world on March 21. The festive evening will include dinner, live music, a silent auction, as well as beer and hard cider provided by Birmingham-based Griffin Claw Brewing Company.
