It’s time to highlight some of the best sledding hills in Metro Detroit. The hills range in difficulty, so beginners and advanced adventurers can find their favorite. The trail system at Kensington Metropark is naturally attractive each season. Many visitors and locals are able to enjoy brisk exercise at this expansive park and hold special events. It’s definitely a popular place to be when the weather is nice and sunny and the grass is green, but have you visited when there’s snowfall? You can go cross-country skiing and ice fishing.

You’ll want to visit Lake St. Clair Metropark for an invigorating day of cross-country skiing and ice skating during the cold months. And of course, they have a perfect sledding hill that’s situated near the park’s west playfield. Let your impulse take you on a mini trip with good friends! The sledding hill is open from 10 a.m. and 8 p.m. during the winter.
