ICE SKATING AT CAMPUS MARTIUS

You can walk outside or you can skate! Have you spent the day out at the Rink at Campus Martius yet? Presented by Visit Detroit, this seasonal outdoor ice skating rink is the place to be. Open every day (weather permitting) from late November through the first week of March, enjoy a visit to Downtown Detroit on Woodward Avenue for one of most beautiful and iconic skating experiences in the country and a top destination spot in Michigan. A stroll along Belle Isle is a great idea for those looking to be out in nature as much as possible during the colder months. Enjoy the Detroit River and Detroit skyline views that are beautiful all year. Also, check out the newly renovated riverfront walkway to the unveiling of the new Ralph C. Wilson Jr. Centennial Park!

This project has been underway since 2017. With over 3.5 miles of parks and greenways, discover more with each visit. The Detroit Riverwalk was named best Riverwalk in America for the third year in a row, according to the USA TODAY 10Best Readers’ Choice Awards. Wright Museum of African American History, simply known as the Wright Museum. Take a day of exploration to educate your family in a fascinating way! This is a great spot for enjoying indoor activities this winter, especially with MLK Day coming up in January.
