Through the lens of theater, the legendary Debbie Allen takes us on a journey through the true stories of inner-city Latino and African-American teens, grappling with the complex and alarming problem of gun violence in our communities today.

Empowering both teens and adults to understand the many related issues that factor in to the problem – poverty, isolation, blight, unemployment and more – the show is a high-energy, transformative work of art that puts music, theatre, and dance to work as a means of understanding and effecting change.

This production has a wide audience appeal for lovers of music, theatre, art, and dance. Sometimes funny and playful, sometimes raw and frightening, FREEZE FRAME…Stop the Madness is altogether breathtaking. It is a moving tribute to the power of art and how it transforms lives.
