Pure Detroit Fisher Building Night Tour — Thursday, April 17 @ 9pm
Want to see the city lit up at night from the 26th floor of Detroit’s largest art object?
Join Pure Detroit as we tour the 1928 Albert-Khan architectural masterpiece known as the Fisher Building on Thursday, April 17 starting at 9pm (late night tour) as part of Art Detroit Now’s Third Thursdays.
The tour begins at our Pure Detroit shop located at the north entrance of the building. Parking is readily available at Second & Lothrop (metered & paid secured parking available).
This tour is free & open to the public of all ages. Photography is allowed. All you have to do is show up!
Learn intimate details as well as see firsthand the exquisite design and ornamentation of the interior arcade including one-of-a-kind mosaics, painted ceilings, Art Deco chandeliers and the finest craftsmanship in stone, brass and bronze.
The tour will feature an extensive history of the building; a trip through the interior arcade and third floor as well as a trip to the 26nd floor for excellent photo opportunities.
